Joan DeRose

Joan DeRose, age 77, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Overbrook, PA, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Camillo and Laura DiTomasso (nee Fosco).

Joan was an avid reader and often enjoyed the challenges of jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and digital games.

Joan was the loving mother of Camille DeRose; adoring grandmother of Lauren King (Robin) and Jessica King and great-grandmother of Maverick and Dakota ; caring sister of Linda DeMarco (Teddy), Bob DiTomasso (Michel) and the late Thomas DiTomasso. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her niece and goddaughter, Laura DeMarco.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joan’s Memorial Service 10:00-11:30 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA 19064.
