Joan Marie Grove (nee Brown), 56, of Glenmoore, passed away April 8, 2013 after a twelve-month fight against Breast Cancer.
She was born at the West Chester Memorial Hospital in May 1956 to Ruth Gallagher-Brown and the late Robert M. Brown.
Joan graduated from Great Valley High school, Class of 1975.
She was married to Richard A Grove in September 1988 in Downingtown.
Joan worked as a real estate agent for several agencies while living in Florida, but spent most of her years as a loving, devoted wife and mother. She loved to read, and spend time in front of her fireplace with the families' many cherished pets.
She was the beloved wife of Richard A Grove, of Glenmoore; loving mother of Megan Grove and Matthew Grove; beloved daughter Ruth Gallagher-Brown, of Malvern ; dear sister of Janice B Senn and her husband A. Jay Peikin, of Wayne, and Jane Mickulick, of Exton. She is also survived by two aunts, Kathryn Faddis, of Malvern and Betty Nixon, of Fort Myers, FL and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions to be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, (TNBC Foundation), PO Box 204, Norwood, NJ 07648, www.tnbcfoundation.org.
