Joan M. Hennelly

Joan M. Hennelly (nee McNeill), age 87, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on December 23, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna McNeill (nee Harper).

Joan was an avid traveler, loved spending time in Florida and Cape May, and enjoyed sewing. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family whom she loved so dearly.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Hennelly; loving mother of Joann Burke (Bill), Mary Clifton (Joseph), Thomas Hennelly, Joseph Hennelly (Christy), James Hennelly (Mary Ann), Dennis Hennelly (Jennifer), Brian Hennelly, and the late Patricia Capone; caring sister of Thomas McNeill (Eileen) and Alice Conway (the late Nicholas). Also survived by 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her 11 siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 8:30-11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Ln., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment Private.
