Joan B. Lewis, 77, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away August 18, 2018.
Born November 22, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Miriam J. (nee Woodruff) Bowman.
Joan was the organist for Glen Moore United Methodist Church, Glen Moore, PA, for over 35 years. She had a strong faith and was active in the church and with the church camp, Innabah. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies; loved trips to Ocean City, New Jersey; and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She really enjoyed the simple times of life.
She was the loving mother of David S. (Anne E.), Stephen J. (Rebecca K.), and Kenneth D. (Robin H.); and adoring grandmother of Joshua (Emily), Jacob, Riley, Carolyn, Ben, Spencer, and Molly.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Glen Moore United Methodist Church, 1920 Creek Rd, Glen Moore, PA 19343. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested in Joan's memory to Glen Moore UMC, P.O. Box 37, Glen Moore, PA 19343.
