Joan MacBride

Joan Alice MacBride (nee Allen), age 90, of Secane, PA, passed away on June 6, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late William MacBride. Joan is survived by her dear children David (Janice) and James MacBride and her daughter-in-law, Judi, her grandchildren, Patrick (Karen), Evan (Mandy), Brynn, Sean (Meghan), Brendan, Amanda (Sean), and Kyle, and great-grandchildren, Elyse, Rowan, and Jack. She was pre-deceased by her son, William MacBride, and her siblings, Robert Allen, Samuel R. Allen, and Elizabeth Kilkenny.

Joan enjoyed crafting, making door swags, and doing her math for the Daily Number. She loved spending time with her family and friends while talking trips to Atlantic City casino or going to dinner with the ladies. Joan was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2021 and 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
