Joan C. Otruba (nee Corrigan), age 85, of Broomall, PA passed away on November 21, 2014.
Born in Philadelphia to the late Walter and Helen (nee Gaul) Corrigan, Joan earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College in Michigan. She also studied Pastoral Ministry at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit.
Joan was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Otruba and the dear mother of Joseph (Susan) Otruba of Baytown, TX, Denise (Albert) Ricci of Lancaster, PA, Bruce (Carol) Otruba of Leesburg, GA, Joan (the late Jack) Kanavy of Broomall, PA, Tina (David) Smith of Gilbertsville, PA, Karen (Robert) Suplee of Gilbertsville, PA, James (Linda) Otruba of Oak Harbor, WA, Brian (Linda) Otruba of Morton, PA, Maryann (Victor) Wynn of Wichita, KS and Kathleen Otruba of Clawson, MI. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday 9:30-10:50 AM, St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
