Joan L. Pilson (nee O'Connell), age 62, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on May 11, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna O'Connell (nee Mayer). Joan was a 1969 graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield, PA. She was employed as an Assistant Service Manager for Piazza Honda in Drexel Hill.
Joan was a member of the Sisterhood Vietnam Security Police Association. She loved being with her family, especially her grandson. She was the wife of Frank Pilson, a Vietnam veteran, and the mother of MaryAnne Pilson and Frankie Pilson (Fiancé Nicole Donovan). She is survived by her grandson Chane Kazunas, her sister-in-law Betty O'Connell and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Paul W. O'Connell.
