Joan Ruscitella

Joan Marie Ruscitella (nee Hagner), 85, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016. She was born to the late Earl and Marie Hagner on September 10, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. She married the late U. Thomas Ruscitella on October 20, 1951.
Joan, a sweet, kind and giving woman, was the loving mother of Maria M. Kear (Daniel) and William T. Ruscitella (Allyson). She was "the world's best grandmother" and adored her five grandchildren, Caitlin Kear, Daniel Kear, Sarah Ruscitella, Ryan Ruscitella, and William Ruscitella. She is also survived by a sister, Suzanne Hagner, and a brother, William Hagner.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at the Hall Funeral Home, 140 S. Nursery Ave, Purcellville, Va, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM and to her Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at St Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church, 37730 St Francis Court, Purcellville, VA and to a reception immediately thereafter at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Purcellville, VA.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA. Following the Visitation, Joan will be laid to rest with her husband, Tom, at Calvary Cemetery, Gulph Road & Matsonford Road, West Conshohocken, PA.
A reception will follow immediately thereafter at La Collina Restaurant, 37-41 Ashland Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Flowers may be sent to either funeral home or memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue., Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
