JoAnn Wheeler

JoAnn M. Wheeler, age 63, of Upper Darby, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on June 6, 2014. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late John J. Wheeler, Jr. and Eva Wheeler (nee Mooney).



JoAnn was a graduate of Haverford High School. She was employed as a Machine Operator with the Philadelphia Gum Factory in Havertown for 14 years. JoAnn was a loving sister and aunt.



JoAnn is survived by her sisters Rose Newsham and Sherry Blakeslee, her nephews Robert George, Joseph McAllister, her niece Anita McGettigan, great-niece and nephews Thomas Devlin, Ava McGettigan and Ronald McGettigan, III and her aunts, uncles, cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Peggy McAllister and her nephew John D. McAllister, Jr.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday 7:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday 10:00-11:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
