Joanne M. Brandl (nee Gordy), 75, of Exton, PA passed away on May 9, 2013.
Born in 1938 in Salisbury, MD, Joanne was the daughter of Catherine (Rucker) and John Gordy, both deceased.
Joanne was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Brandl, who preceded her in death in 1996.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed watching the birds in her garden.
She was the loving mother of Kristin Brandl Weiler (Douglas) of Chester Springs, Catherine A. Carey (Joseph) of Exton, Robert W. Brandl (Leah Johnson) of Gilbert, AZ, Jennifer Brandl Fanelli (Tom) of Exton and Richard M. Brandl (Paula) of Exton; dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Gordy.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at SS Philip & James Church, Lancaster Ave & Ship Rd, Exton, PA. Interment at St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street,
Philadelphia, PA 19103.
