Joanne T. Gentry

Joanne T. Gentry, age 63 of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Wildwood, NJ passed away suddenly on October 14, 2022.  Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the beloved daughter of Louis F. and the late Joan G. Gentry (nee Kryjer).

Joanne will be dearly missed and was the loving sister of Sr. Barbara Jude I.H.M., Louis "Lou" C. Gentry (Kathleen), and Diane Weaver (Richard) in addition to nieces and nephews, Bridget, Monica, Allison, Maureen, Natalie, Stephen, and Kevin as well as great nieces and nephews, Greyson, McKenna, Nathaniel and Anna.  

Joanne was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School where she excelled in basketball and softball.  Joanne was a remarkable athlete both in High School and College.  She received a full athletic scholarship in basketball to St. Joseph's University where she accomplished 1,000 points in February, 1981.  She received a degree in Food Marketing.

Joanne's early career began at Keebler and most recently at Nabisco/Mondelez International where she was a Sales Representative and Merchandiser.  

Joanne shared her friendly and cheerful spirit with her neighborhood community.  Some of her favorite activities were Bingo, playing cards, and her pets.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, 10-22-22 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA.  Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:30 AM.
