Joanne E. Hetzel, 75, of Exton, PA, formerly of Harrisburg, PA, passed away March 4, 2019.
Born in 1943, she was a daughter of the late John B., Jr., and Marguerite (Eckenrode) Hetzel.
Joanne retired from the Human Relations Commission for the state of Pennsylvania. She enjoyed many visits over the years to the Chesapeake Bay, especially Ocean City, MD, with her friends and family.
She was the beloved sister of Marye C. Roderick-Simpson; loving aunt of Kelly Gilligan, Carrie Obedzinski, and John D. Roderick; and adoring great-aunt of Anna Ronafalvy, Aaron Ronafalvy, Claire Obedzinski, Kyle Obedzinski, and Silas Roderick.
A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Willow Tree Hospice, 616 E. Cypress Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
