John A. Kelly, Jr., age 90, of Havertown passed away, surrounded by his family on April 17, 2015.
Born in 1924 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frances (Gantz) and John A. Kelly, Sr.
John was a graduate of West Catholic High School and served honorably in the US Army during World War II. He was a retired refinery operator at ARCO.
He was a member of the Catholic War Association of Manoa and the Sacred Heart Manoa Senior Citizens Association.
John was greatly loved by his family and will be truly missed.
He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. Kelly (nee Martin); loving father of the late John Kelly III (Janice), Barbara Juzaitis (Jeffrey) of Avalon, NJ, Joan Beele (David) of Springfield, Ann Massimini (Stephen) of Springfield, James Kelly (Lee Ann) of Broomall, Timothy Kelly (Sandra) of Upper Oxford, PA and Stephen Kelly (Miriam) of Aston; loving grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; dear brother-in-law of Barbara Tourdot and Rita Kelly. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
