John Michael Baxter, 77, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Windsor, NY passed away on January 28, 2016.
Born in 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Ida Baxter.
He was the beloved husband of Arlene (Cooper) Baxter; loving father of Jim Baxter (Erin), John Baxter (Ellen) and Jennifer Swawola (Edward); loving grandfather of 3 grandchildren; and dear brother of Harold Baxter and the late William Baxter.
He attended school in Elmhurst, Queens, NY and The Academy of Aeronautics, Astoria, Queens, NY.
He worked in the following positions throughout his life; Matco Electric in Binghamton, NY as a Draftsman & Estimator, Tri-J Electric, Binghamton, NY as Co-Owner & Estimator, Baxter Electric in Binghamton, NY as Owner & Electrical Contractor, Hagerman Electric Inc in Houston, TX as Chief Estimator, Collier Electric in Houston, TX as Senior Estimator, KenMor Electric in Houston, TX as AVP & Mngr of Estimating

John was a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, enjoyed travelling and photography.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 2:00-2:30 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA 19380 followed by his Memorial Mass at 2:30 PM.
