John F. "Jack" Bradley, age 86, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Tel Hai Nursing Home in Honey Brook.
He was born on October 29, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Helen Bradley and was the third of six children. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and went on to graduate from Drexel University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent his career in the computer industry where he focused primarily on computer programming in this newly emerging field. His hobbies and interests included: tennis, sailing, skiing, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. He also volunteered at a local elementary school and worked with a local ministry where he assisted in obtaining personal computers for classrooms.
He is survived by Natalie, his beloved wife of fifty-one years, his daughter Tracy (Dan), two loving grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his five siblings. He will be remembered most for his sharp wit, playful spirit, passionate beliefs, and the love he had for his family. Jack's family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the Meadows at Tel Hai Nursing Home in Honey Brook for their attentiveness and loving care.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30 AM-12 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by his Funeral Services 12 PM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jack's name to The National Stroke Association or The Salvation Army.
