John Joe Brady, age 85, of Broomall, PA, passed away on March 1, 2019.
Born in Kill, Cootehill, County Cavan, Ireland, he was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Brady (nee McDonald).
John Joe was a masonry contractor for more than 40 years.
John was a member of St. Pius X Church in Broomall, PA, a 60 year member of the Cavan Society, the Cavan Bowling League and the AOH St. Denis Division.
He frequented the Irish Immigration Center and for numerous years was St. Patrick on the Cavan Society float in the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade.
He was also a member of the Suburban Contractors Association.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Bridget Brady (nee O'Brien), his loving children Maureen MacCrory (Paul), Joanne Nicholas (JR), Terrie Campbell (Greg), Sean Brady (Deirdre Bradley) and Sheila Doherty (Noel).
Survived by his 15 grandchildren Mairead Kelly (Ryan), Seamus MacCrory (Kristina), Colin MacCrory, Siobhan Brady, Bridie Anne MacCrory, Sean Brady, Leanne Nicholas, Fiona Doherty, Ryan Campbell, Liam Nicholas, Kieva Brady, Noel Doherty, Devin Campbell, Cormac Doherty and Bridget Doherty.
Brother of Greta Judge, Vera O'Reilly, Bridie Stubbs, Tom Brady and the late Brendan Brady and Helen Moran.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Irish Immigration Center, 7 S. Cedar Lane, Upper Darby, PA 19082 would be appreciated.
