John Corr

John P. "Jack" Corr, age 82, of Newtown Square, PA and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away November 20, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Corr (nee Matthews). Loving father of Helen Corr of Wynnewood, PA and John D. Corr of Phoenixville, PA. Also survived by his sister Barbara Rogers and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.



Jack was born in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys. He served his country in the United States Navy. He worked at the Philadelphia Inquirer for over 30 years, starting as a copyboy and progressing to reporter and feature writer.



Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jack's life on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600. Interment private.
