John Davis

John B. Davis, 87, of West Brandywine, PA and formerly of Pittsburgh and Wayne, PA passed away on October 22, 2013.



Born in 1926 in Washington, PA, Jack was the son of Anna (Bedillion) and Robert E. Davis, both deceased.



He served honorably in the US Navy during World War II. Jack worked as the Assistant to the Vice President of Public Affairs at Bell of PA until his retirement in 1985.



Jack was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Davison) Davis in 2010.



He is survived by his children, Laura Campbell, John R. Davis and Scott W. Davis; his grandchildren Laura Lee Davis, John & Scott Davis, Matthew Campbell and Jordan Dunn and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Melvin, Donald and Robert Davis and Mildred Reed.



Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Thursday Eve 7:00-9:00 PM and Friday 10:00-11:30 AM and to his Funeral Service Friday 11:30 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment will be at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens at a later date.
