John Nicholas "Nick" DePaul, 78, passed away on December 31, 2018.
He was the son of the late Gabriel and Margaret M. (nee McGuire) DePaul and was a life-long resident of Broomall, PA.
Nick served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force in Germany.
He was a professional caddie with the PGA for 40 years working with many golf celebrities including George Archer, Gary Player, Graham Marsh, Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros.
He also continued to be an avid sportsman in his retirement.
He was a member of the Marple Newtown Amateur Radio Club and a highly skilled Morse code operator.
Nick was the loving brother of Dennis (Yvonne), Kevin (Barbara), Molly Lewis, Sr. Rosemary "Mimi", Clare Gavin (Dennis).
He was predeceased by his siblings, Gibby and Monica.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation, Saturday, January 12, 2019, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
Internment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
