John E. Dewees, age 67, of Holmes, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, passed away on January 11, 2014.
Born to the late Thomas and Elizabeth (nee Simmons) Dewees, John was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and was a self employed General Contractor.
John is survived by his loving children John (Jackie), Michelle (Jim Bannon, Jr.), Shawn (Kyleen Stapleton) and Joseph Dewees and Stephanie Sannutti (Greg), his siblings Thomas (Debbie), Francis, Patricia, Michael and Mary Dewees and Dolores MacMullett and his 4 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his sister Joan Doyle.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Wednesday 6-8 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby (610) 449-0300 followed by his Funeral Service at 8:00 PM. Interment Friday, meet at funeral home at 10:30 AM for procession to SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
