John Gomes

John Gomes, age 75, of Chester, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA and Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 9, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Gomes (nee McClure). Mr. Gomes was a graduate of West Catholic Boys High School in Philadelphia and a very proud graduate of Villanova University. He was employed as a clerk at Bryn Mawr Hospital until his retirement.
He is survived by his siblings Joseph and Maureen Gomes and James and Elizabeth Gomes, his nephews James and Joseph and his nieces Lauren McDougall, Marnie Miller, Katherine Desmond and Megan McFaul.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, January 15, 2014 St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, where friends may call in Church from 9:00-9:50 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
