John Jurkiewicz

John W. Jurkiewicz, age 82, of Broomall, PA, passed away on August 7, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Genevieve (nee Olszewska) Jurkiewicz.

John served his country honorably in the United States Army.  He was employed in the education industry as a teacher.

John was the beloved husband of Anne (Nee Knappenberger) Jurkiewicz; the loving father of Melanie Germain (Mike), John (Lydia), James (Erika), Walter  (Robin), and David (Michelle).  He was the devoted grandfather of Anna, Thomas, Christopher, Keven, Alexander, Megan, Joseph, Catherine, Henry, Lucy, and Joshua, and the proud great-grandfather of 12 great-grandchildren.  .  He is also survived by his brother, Wallace.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Thursday, August 12, 2021, 9:00 to 10:15 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM.  Interment Private. PLEASE NOTE:  Family requests all guests wear facial masks for the services .
