Kasper, age 61, of Oxford, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on December 28, 2018.
John was the loving husband of Carol Kasper (nee Blackburn); devoted son of Anne F. Kasper (nee Glancey) and the late John Kasper; beloved brother of Karen A. Garbutt (Glenn).
John grew up in St. Laurence Parish. He graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School class of 1975. John currently belongs to Sacred Heart Parish of Oxford. He was an avid golf player and enjoyed playing on new golf courses when he had the chance. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Eagles. He loved playing the drums, listening to Jazz music, and watching documentaries.
John was a very big train enthusiast. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a very big fan of being outside and loved spending time at parks, in particular Nottingham Park. If you had to describe John in five words or phrases they would be: kind, loyal, witty, tender hearted, and dedicated to his values.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Thursday, January 3, 2019, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, (610)356-1613, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield PA.
