John F. "Jack" Kelly, Jr., age 80, of Upper Darby, PA and the Villas, NJ, passed away on January 7, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John F. Kelly, Sr. and Marie Kelly (nee Coarse).
Jack was a 1956 graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys in Philadelphia, PA and served in the United States Air Force.
He was employed with the Army Corps of Engineers, was a mail carrier for 35 years with the United States Post Office in Upper Darby, PA, was a Court Crier with the Delaware County Court House in Media, PA and was a member of American Legion Post 214 in Upper Darby, PA.
He was a former parishioner of St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish in East Lansdowne, PA.
He was an avid fisherman and boater.
John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marlene Kelly (nee Manley) and his granddaughter, Caroline Kelly.
He is survived by his children John F. "Jack" III (Carolyn), James (Pamela), Joe (Lisa), Debbie Hoffman (Dean), Dan (Kim) and Kathy Kelly.
Also survived by his 12 grandchildren Brendan, Katie, Jennifer, Dewitt, Joe, Jasmine, Justin, Kiersten, Samantha, Lauren, Ashley, Madison and his 6 great-grandchildren Tommy, Carson, Mylie, Jacoby, Teagan and Ava.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, January 10, 2019 9:30-10:50 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
