John Kerneckel

John A. “Jack” Kerneckel, age 77, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Ridley Township, PA, passed away on June 27, 2020.

Born and raised in Philadelphia to the late John B. and Susan (nee Betteridge) Kerneckel. Jack is a retired member of Steamfitter’s Local Union 420 for over 40 years.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann Kerneckel (nee Gula); loving children Robert and Lorie Kerneckel, caring grandchildren Lauren and Caroline Kerneckel; dear sister Mary Ann Yocco (the late Frank); and his beloved brother-in-laws Paul (Kathleen) and Jim (Tina) Gula. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He will surely be missed by his dog/TV buddy Cooper.

Jack was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who loved country music and watching old western movies. He enjoyed taking vacations with his family and spending time with his lifelong friends.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
