John E. Kropp

John E. Kropp, 72, of West Chester, PA passed away on October 17, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1950, he was the son of the late Walter and Helen (née McCloskey) Kropp.

John was the beloved husband of Maureen “Reenie” A. (née Hayes) Kropp; loving father of Colleen Kropp and Jack Kropp; dear brother of Dr. Dennis Kropp (the late Helene), Kathleen Hart ( Gordon), Peter Kropp (Gina) and the late Margaret Mary Scully (Brian); and many nieces and nephews.

John earned his Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University. He worked for Smith Kline in the labs for over 40 years.

John was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed spending time on the beach in Sea Isle City. He enjoyed listening to the Beatles and loved Jeopardy, trivia, all useless information and traveling, especially to Ireland.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Friday, October 21, 2022 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA and to his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment Private.
