John B. Manning, 78, of Devon, PA passed away on June 15, 2017.
Born in 1939 in Collingdale, PA, John was the son of the late Lee C. and Elizabeth (Kostes) Manning.
He was a teacher at Rosemont College.
John was the beloved husband of Helen (Sullivan) Manning; loving father of Ann Allen (Robert) and Catherine Treacy (Michael); adoring grandfather of Henry and Lucy Allen and Erin and Jack Treacy; dear brother of Robert L. Manning (Karen), Edward R. Manning (Virginia) and Valerie E. Vinal (William). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave, Wayne, PA 19087 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Home, 5300 Chester Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143-4993 or to the St. Martin de Porres School, 2300 W. Lehigh Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19132.
