John McIlhenney

John J. McIlhenney, age 86, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 14, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John J. and Anna McIlhenney (nee McCauley). John was a 1947 graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia and a member of the Alumni Association. He was a Paratrooper in the United States Army in the Korean War.



John was employed as a paint salesman with Finneran & Haley Paint in Pilgrim Gardens for 48 years.



John was predeceased by his sister Kay Kelly (the late Charles). He is survived by his sister Eileen MacDonald (Hugh), his nieces and nephews Hugh MacDonald (Holly), Trisha MacDonald Cox (Jason), John Kelly, Charles Kelly (Sonia), Michael Kelly (Harry Uleau), Daniel Kelly (Anne Marie), Ann Kelly Gregg (Jim), Eileen Kelly Sealy (Howard), Kathy Kelly Layden (Tom) and Barbara Kelly and his dear friend Maryanne Burke.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, January 19, 2015 9:30-10:20 AM St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
