John J. McKenzie, 65, of Media, PA passed away on May 13, 2019.
Born in Darby, PA in 1953, he was the beloved son of the late John T. and Frances (Merrick) McKenzie.
John was the loving husband of Mary Jo (Gundel) McKenzie; devoted father of Kim Rems (Dan), Jenny McKenzie (Alex Zak) and Jackie Lawless (Colin); grandfather of Bennett Rems and Clara Rems; dear brother of Maryfran Stulginsky (Bill) and Rich McKenzie.
John was Co-founder and President of Excel Automotive.
He loved spending time in Avalon, NJ on the beach with his family, sailing and reading. He also enjoyed skiing, golf, fly fishing and listening to Frank Sinatra. Above all, John was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM Friday, May 17, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
