Dr. John C. Chogich, age 86, of Berwyn, PA, passed away on March 9, 2015. Born in New Brighton, PA, he was the son of the late John P. and Barbara A. Chogich (nee Subic).
Dr. Chogich was educated in the New Brighton Public School System, attended Washington & Jefferson College and graduated from Temple University Medical School.
After a three year tour in the United States Army, serving at Valley Forge Army Hospital in Korea and Japan, he joined a general practice in Chester, PA. After nearly a decade in general practice, he entered a residency program in Radiology at Philadelphia General Hospital. The rest of his career was spent in the private practice of Radiology.
John was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Henn. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Anne Chogich (nee Schutte), his children Trisha Chogich, Barbara Shinrock and Beth Booth, his stepchildren James Silvius and Beth Croner (Robert) and 9 grandchildren.
Services and Interment will be private.
