John Moore III

John J. Moore, III, age 72, of West Chester, formerly of Springfield, passed away on December 1, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John J. Moore, Jr. and Catherine Moore (nee Doyle). He was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School. John was employed as a Supervisor with PECO in Ardmore. He retired in 1996.



John loved spending time with his family and friends and being Jimmy Pop to his grandchildren.



He is survived by his children Stephen E. and Gregory J. Moore (Jane), his grandchildren Patrick, Brady and Kate, and his brothers Edward and Larry Moore. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen "Kay" Moore (nee Dougherty) and his brother PT Moore.
