John W. Morgan, 85, of Downingtown passed away on June 3, 2013 at Hickory House Nursing Home.
Born in Lykens, PA in 1927, John was the son of Carrie (Fetterhoff) and Alvin Morgan, both deceased.
John served honorably in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as an Electrician for Lukens Steel in Coatesville, PA for over 30 years until his retirement in 1991.
John was a quiet man who was a Western movie enthusiast. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, traveling and especially smoking a good cigar.
John was predeceased by his wife, the late Margaret Catherine Graham.
He was the loving father of Bob Morgan (Veronica), the late Margaret Fugelman and the late Rebecca Ann Morgan; dear grandfather of John R. Hoffman (Dori), Rebecca A. Koser and Donna M. Seigfried.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service 1:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, PA.
