John F. Naber, 88 of Elverson, PA passed away on March 22, 2023.
Born in 1934 in Louisville, KY, John was the son of the late Herman and Bernadine (née Breidenstine) Naber.
John served honorably in the US Army. He was a graduate of University of Louisville, where he earned his BS in Chemical Engineering. He moved to the Philadelphia area and began working for Sun Oil Company for the next 37 years.
He met his wife, Mary Louise, they married in 1960 and built a life and family together over the next 60 years.
John had a wonderful sense of humor and was an avid sports fan, who also enjoyed extreme Sudoku. He loved the Kentucky Derby and knew all of the winners over the years.
John was the beloved husband of the late Mary Louise (née Dayton) Naber; loving father of John (Cara), Dina Ogden (Bob), Charles (Chrissy), Mark (Susan), Joe, Michelle Mattson (Jim) and Liz Dumond (John); proud grandfather of Sean, Julia, Olivia, Christopher, Jordan, Alex, Brandon. Zack, Charlie, Johnny, Natalie and Alayna; great-grandfather of Leo and Eva; and dear brother of Sr. Mary Michelle, S.C.N.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Fr. Herman Naber and Charles Naber.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, March 30, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000 and to his Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, March 31, 2023 at SS Simon & Jude Church, West Chester, PA 19382.
