John J. "Jack" Pinca, 78, of Thornton, PA, passed away on August 25, 2018.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1940, he was the son of the late John F. and Agnes (nee Stone) Pinca. John worked as a teacher in Garnet Valley and Downingtown.
He was a proud Eagles fan and enjoyed listening to oldies music.
John loved fishing in Potter County, PA (God's Country) and spending summers in Ocean Pines, MD.
He was the beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Wasilko) Pinca; loving father of John M. Pinca (Tina), Jeffrey J. Pinca, and Joseph M. Pinca (Lauren); caring grandfather of Elise and Nicholas; dear brother of Marie Ann McDonough.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Cornelius Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM.
Interment Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Cornelius Church at the address listed above would be appreciated.
