John Roddy

John T. "Jack" Roddy, age 82, of Berwyn, PA, passed away on June 6, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mary K. Roddy (nee Rouse).
Jack was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed as a Teacher and Department Head for the School of District of Philadelphia.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Roddy, his loving children MIchael (Bonnie) Roddy, John P. (Barbara) Roddy, Eilish (Phil) McCarty and Kevin (Bridget) Roddy, his eight grandchildren and his sisters Catherine Miglionico (the late Frank) and Anne Marie Morrissey (the late Elmer).
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, June 9, 2017 11:30 AM-12:30 PM St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Sacred Heart School, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ 08104 would be appreciated.
