John Samuel Martin

John S. Martin, 79, of Secane, PA passed away on September 7, 2023. He was the son of the late John V. & Martha (nee Slocum) Martin and brother of the late James Martin.

John received his PhD and taught Physiology at Temple School of Dentistry & Temple School of Medicine for over 40 years retiring in 2021. He enjoyed reading, scuba diving and traveling. John was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Navy.

John is survived by his sister-in-law Patricia Martin, his niece Jessica, nephew Christopher and his wife Kirstin, great niece Quinn, great nephew Caleb and good friend Rene Rawda.

Family and friends are invited to John’s Visitation on Friday September 15^th at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, PA 19070 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM followed by his 12:00 PM Funeral Service. Interment: Hillside Cemetery.
