John J. Shannon, age 97, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on December 17, 2014.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late John and Grace (nee Jack) Shannon. Mr. Shannon served honorably in the United States Army during WWII. He currently worked as a Salesman for Phillip Rosenau Co.
Beloved husband of the late Rita E. (nee Nolan) Shannon; Mr. Shannon was married to his late wife for 60 yrs. at the time of her passing in 2001. Dear father of Kathleen A. Shannon.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Tuesday, 11:30 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike Newtown Square, PA 19073.
Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
