John Joseph "Jack" Tegler, 72, of Springfield, PA passed away on April 29, 2017.
Born in 1944, in Philadelphia, Jack was the son of the late Albert W. and Louise M. (Sharkey) Tegler, Sr.
He was a 1958 graduate of St. Andrew's School, Drexel Hill, 1962 graduate of St. Joe's Prep and a 1966 graduate of St. Joseph's College.
Jack was a successful salesman for The Gilbertson Group, a Surveillance Solutions company in Coatesville, PA.
He was an avid swimmer who enjoyed spending as much time as possible at the beach. As a young child, he lived in Wildwood Crest with his family. Throughout his lifetime he celebrated fun times with family and friends in Longport, Cape May, Avalon and more recently Ocean City and Strathmere, NJ.
Jack is survived by Leigh McLaughlin; siblings, Albert W. Tegler, Jr. (Janet), Louise E. Tegler, Michael E. Tegler (Marie), Judy Tegler Corr and Meg Tegler Hardesty (Chris); 19 nieces and nephews, 39 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:30 Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at a later date.
