John Vincent Touey, Sr., age 80, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on January 22, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Vincent Paul and Anna Touey (nee Mount).
John Vincent served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a Philosophy Teacher for 20 years at Immaculata University and Chestnut Hill College and also the United States Post Office as a Postal Worker for 20 years. He retired in 2007.
He is survived by his wife Clare F. Touey (nee McLaughlin), his children John Vincent, Jr. (Jin Hee), Daniel Patrick (Diane) and Maura Elizabeth Ferrill (Martin), his siblings Charles, Joseph, Patrick, Paul Touey, Mary Anne Flaherty, Sr. Kate Touey, and Joanie Gallagher and his grandchildren Lauren, Sara, Kellen, Ellie and Jack. He was predeceased by his siblings Anna Marie Urevick, Vincent Touey, Hellen Bellew and Thomas Touey.

Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby (610) 449-0300 and Monday 9-10 AM St. Philomena Church, 41 E. Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
