John W. Whiteley III

John W. Whiteley III, 64, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away on December 17, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1959, he was the son of the late John W. Jr. and Helen (née Curran) Whiteley.

John was the beloved husband of Cheryl Hope (née Eisenhuth) Whiteley; loving father of Mark A. Whitely; dear brother of the late Susan Gunter; and uncle to Wesley Gunter.

John earned his Bachelor’s degree and went on to work as a Project Manager in the Cable industry.

He was an avid sports fan who liked watching the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers. He was a marathon runner who also enjoyed biking and worked out every morning. He loved the beach and traveling, especially on cruises. John was also a lover of animals, especially dogs.

He was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2024 followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382, where his luncheon will also take place after the services.  Interment Private.
