John J. Wierik, age 60, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on January 28, 2019.
Born in Vienna, Austria, he was the son of the late John B. and Lucy Rita Wierik (nee Teti).
John was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School and Temple University.
He had been employed with Valquip in Malvern in the Shipping and Receiving Department.
John was a member of Pike Township Sportsmen's Club in Oley, PA for many years.
He enjoyed camping, canoeing and music.
John is survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o St. Laurence Chapter, 30 St. Laurence Road, Upper Darby, PA 19082 would be appreciated.
