John McFerran Wuetig, 73, of West Chester, passed away January 9, 2019.
Born October 16, 1945 in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Oliver Henry and Marjorie Boyd (nee McFerran) Wuetig. He served honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
John loved to travel, and particularly enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife.
He adored his three granddaughters, spending time with family, reading, and Philadelphia sports.
He was the beloved husband of Theresa A. (nee Cerulli) Wuetig; the loving father of John O. Wuetig (Cristen Miller), and Ann M. Coia (Gabriel); cherished grandfather of Lilian M. Wuetig, Elizabeth A. Wuetig, and Eleanora T. Coia; and dear brother of Ann Jones (Philip) and Jennifer Wuetig.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 9 to 11 AM, Monday January 14, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester PA 19380 (610-431-9000), followed by his Memorial Service at 11 AM at the same location. Internment Private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th & Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
