Joseph Barr, 43 of West Conshohocken, died tragically in an automobile accident on Monday, June 3, 2013.
Joe was the owner of Apollo Granite and Marble located in Exton, PA. He was responsible for installations and was a relentless worker.
Joe had an amazing athletic career at Marple Newtown High School. He was an All Delco athlete in both football and baseball. He was selected as the Delco Player of the year in baseball in 1988 and held Delaware County QB passing yardage for many years.
Joe was a loving husband to his wife Regina and an adoring father to his children Paige and Joey. In addition, Joe is survived by his father Jim Barr Sr., brothers Michael, Kevin, Patrick, Matthew and sisters Suzanne, Kellie, Mary, Debbie and Lisa. Joe is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his mother Jean and older brother Jim.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday 11:30 AM, St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA where family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:20 AM. Burial will be private. Arr. THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, Newtown Square, PA 610-353-6300.
