Joseph Bartley, Sr.

Joseph G. Bartley, Sr., age 58, of Lansdowne, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill and Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on July 25, 2015 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edward Bartley, Sr. and Mary Bartley (nee Kaczyski). He was a graduate of Drexel University where he received his B.S. degree in Accounting.



Joe was employed as the Finance Manager for the Borough of Lansdowne for the last 6 years.



Joe was a simple and humble man. He loved vacationing with his family in Sea Isle City, NJ each summer, sailing, crabbing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He gave back to his community as a volunteer for the Lansdowne Boys and Girls Club.



Joe was a wonderful husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. We know "Captain Joe" is enjoying his sail off into the sunset.



Joe is survived by his beloved wife Diane M. Bartley (nee Murray), his 2 wonderful children Erinn Rak (Christopher) and Joseph G. Bartley, Jr., his sister Rose Mary Maley (Joe), his brother Edward Bartley, Jr. and many beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
