Joseph Gilbert Brand, Jr., 96, of Manlius, NY formerly of Lebanon, PA, and of Denver, PA, passed away on April 2, 2017.
Born in Lebanon in 1920, he was the son of the late Ethel (nee Rex) and Joseph G. Brand, Sr. Joseph served honorably in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manlius, NY. Joseph enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Bessie L. (nee Knerr) Brand; loving father of Joseph G. Brand, III (Gail Carrado) and the late Mary Frances Cressman; also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; predeceased by his sister Frances Gerhart.
Memorial services will be held in both Manlius and Denver. Interment will be private.
