Joseph Caponi

Joseph P. Caponi, 89 years of age, of Havertown, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on September 23, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Margaret J. (nee Jackson). Loving father of Rev. Francis J. O.S.A., Philip D., Matthew J. (Laraine), Honora C. Logan (Peter), James M. (Janice) and the late Joseph P. Caponi. Dear brother of Michael Capone. Predeceased by Philip, Ellen and Richard Capone. Devoted grandfather of Joseph, Matthew, Katharine, Christopher, Julia Mary and Bernadette. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.



Joe was a World War II Army Veteran, a Philadelphia Police Department Veteran, a member of FOP Lodge 5 and American Legion Post 338 in Havertown, PA.



Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Friday, September 26, 2014 7:00 PM Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA with a viewing in Church from 4:00 PM-6:45 PM and Saturday, September 27, 2014 9:30-10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester PIke (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby (610) 449-0300. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
