Joseph Cox

Joseph R. Cox, age 47, of Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on December 14, 2013. Born in Media, PA, he was the son of Elizabeth Cox (nee Barrow) and the late Robert Cox.
Joseph was a graduate of St. Katherine Day School in Wynnewood. He was previously employed as a bagger with Acme Supermarkets in Ocean City. He enjoyed biking, surfing and miniature golf. He volunteered at Shore Memorial Hospital's Thrift Shop and participated with the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters Betsy Gladue and Jane Jones and his brothers Robert, Edward, Thomas, John and James Cox.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, December 19, 2013 9:15-10:20 AM St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
