Joseph Dougherty

Joseph "Joe" A. Dougherty passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 in Broomall, PA at the age of 87 after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ann; his children Cathy McCloskey (Bud), John (Mary Ann), Linda (John Walenta); grandchildren B.J., Mike (Missy), Moira, Meghan, Erin and Abigail; great

grandchildren Mikayla, Kinsley and Evelyn; nieces, nephews and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his brother and life-long friend, Bill Dougherty.
Joe graduated from St Thomas More High School, and served in the US Army.
He worked for many years for Sealtest Dairy and subsequently Wawa Inc., until his retirement.
He loved to do crossword puzzles and other brain teasers, watch Jeopardy and old movies, and above all he loved to read.
Books were his constant companion, and the source of endless hours of enjoyment for him.
