Joseph J. "Joey" Fosco

Joseph J. “Joey” Fosco, age 64, of Havertown, PA, passed away on January 15, 2024.

Joey was raised in Overbrook Park - (Up the Hill!). He was the son of the late Joseph Anthony and Jacqueline T. (née Mullen) Fosco.

Joey was employed as a painting contractor in the painting and construction business. Joey was an avid, lifelong golfer. He was on the St. Tommy Moore golf team for two years.  He graduated from West Catholic Boys High School. Joey was a huge fan of the Phillies, 76ers, Eagles, and Villanova Basketball, so much so that he liked to have a wager or two on occasion.

Joey was a beloved friend to many and had a deep love & affection for his friends and family.  He was an extremely honest and hard worker who took pride in every job. He made the best meatballs around (if you didn't believe him, you just had to ask him!) His friends and family always laughed about how tough of a food critic he was, as he was very particular. Lobster Tails had to be "Cold-Water", Scallops had to be “dry”, and he would only entertain "fresh" raviolis.

Joey was the beloved husband of Rosalia (née Bonanni) Fosco; the loving father of Natalie Fosco, Joseph A. Fosco (Fiancé, Deanna), and Daniella Fosco. He was the dear brother of Ellie Battista (Jim), Judy Gentile (Larry) and the late Edward Fosco (Amy). Joey is also survived by his in-laws, Ernesto and Rosa Bonanni, as well as his sister-in-law, Lorena Johnson (Mike), and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 9:30 to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Avenue, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
