Joseph C. Lepone, Sr., 87, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on August 7, 2013.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1926, Joseph was the son of Rose DelGuidice and Pasquale C. Lepone, both deceased.
Joseph was a graduate of LaSalle College where he studied Business and Accounting. He attended American College of Life Underwriting where he obtained his CLU.
He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the General Manager of Prudential Insurance and the Owner Operator of Franklin Mortgage in West Chester until he retired in 2005.
Joseph was a member of SS Simon & Jude Knights of Columbus in West Chester. He taught CCD classes at SS Peter & Paul Parish and was also a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Lions Club of West Chester and a volunteer at Medical Missions of Philadelphia.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Anne M. (Quartucci) Lepone; loving father of Donna Maria Saunders, Joseph C. Lepone (Cynthia), Ann Marie Lepone, and Lisa Anne Boland (William J.); loving grandfather of Jennifer B. Luckowski (Christopher), Mark A. Ryan (Nicole), Stephanie M. Gennaro, Christian J. Saunders, Chanel Lepone, William J. Boland, Jr., Matthew B. Boland and great-grandfather to Tristan, Dylan, Sydnee and Victoria Luckowski, Kayla, Brianna and Mark Ryan and Justan and Joseph Gennaro; dear brother of Dominic (Marie), John, Dolores Lepone, Martha Wasson (Harry), Mary Ann Lepone (Gary), the late Gerald, the late Arnold, the late Mark, the late Anthony, and the late Robert.
